Sharpham Barton is a friendly, family camp set on a bio-dynamic farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty in South Devon.

Camping facilities are basic, with tents and caravans arranged in small 'villages' around their own campfire. We provide wood for the communal campfires, hot and cold water and toilets.

The main marquee is the focal point of the Camp; the Lunacy Café and the information point are based here. Nearby is the Chai area, where you can take time out in a more relaxed environment.

There is lots to do for all ages, including workshops, activities, entertainment, sports, farm walks, kindergarten, therapies and talks.

Or explore and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside, we are less than ten miles from Dartmoor and the sea!

As you will read elsewhere in this website, we provide basic camping facilities, and invite people to camp together as families in small village groups around a well stocked communal camp fire. We also provide hot and cold running water - and 'lovely', environment-friendly compost toilets.

(Our low-impact policy ensures that a few days after the end of each camp the fields are healthy and safe for the return of the farm animals.)

The main marquee is the focal point of the camp and is the base for the café and information point; it is also the venue for some activities. All on-site activities and entertainments we provide are optional and are included in the price of your ticket. For off-site activities we make a charge to cover costs.
