Pen Pynfarch

A place to retreat, relax and create.
The cottage is in the very peaceful setting of Pen Pynfarch, a 40 acre smallholding in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. The site includes a lovely woodland valley, with stream and lake which offers a haven to wildlife and has abundant wildflowers. Guests are welcome to walk, picnic and explore.
The location offers real tranquility and seclusion but at the same time is ideally placed to explore the area, being 10 minutes drive from Llandysul, within easy reach of the market towns of Newcastle Emlyn, Lampeter and Carmarthen and a short drive to the beautiful coastline of Ceredigion with it's unspoilt beaches and seaside towns. Pen Pynfarch is right on a section of the Teifi Trail network of footpaths.
The cottage is part of a range of traditional stone-built farm buildings. The inside is simple and homely with a woodburner and supply of logs. It is furnished mostly with old or antique pieces in keeping with the buildings. The kitchen area has been recently renovated using reclaimed materials and traditional lime plaster and finishes. The cottage has central heating throughout.
