Pumpkin Arts provides skilled experienced art workers for all types of art project.

Jain McKay has been working as a freelance artist for 13 years. Her post-modern style, using disclosure, intimacy and childishness, makes her relevant in today’s big brother society.

McKay could be compared with Grayson Perry and Tracey Emin, but she is also influenced by Egon Schele and Marlene Dumas. Since her MA show in 2004 her work has developed and changed rapidly. Her style still varies from incredibly simplistic work relying purely on the beauty of line to rich and textured paintings. Behaviour is always an important part of her work, both her own and others.

Her workshop activities vary from one day projects to longer term environment changing projects to festivals and celebrations. Leaving a lasting impression is always an important factor. As is improving self-esteem in pupils by achieving excellent results.
