Long Crichel Bakery





Long Crichel Bakery, near Wimborne in Dorset, has been baking organic bread since August 2000 after constructing a brick oven in an 18th century stable block. The wood fired oven gives a delicious taste to the bread. Wherever possible we use locally sourced ingredients; vegetables and fruit are grown in our own walled garden at Long Crichel. We bake traditional English bread and cakes as well as sourdough and Continental bread, viennoiserie and patisserie. We also do toast, muesli and make jams.

The daily menu consists of breakfast, lunch and teatime classics, all of which are served throughout the day. 
These range from our own muesli, toast, kedgeree, Welsh rarebit, toasted bacon sandwiches, soup, salads, bread pudding, almond croissants, Eccles cakes, scones with clotted cream …and much more. Seasonal vegetables from our biodynamic walled garden are used throughout the dishes. We also make soup, sandwiches, coffee and teas to take away.
