Handmade wooden traditional board games.

Handmade wooden traditional board games including sjoelen, chess, bagatelle, skittles and jester.

We originally set up Sagem Crafts to make the large traditional board game called sjoelen or sjoelbak - very popular in the Netherlands - and introduce it into Britain under the trade name Shool. In Germany it is sometimes known as jakkolo. Also called Shuffleboard.

Made principally from British timbers, the hand-made games are durable and attractively finished, making them as enjoyable to look at as they are to play.

Each piece is individually numbered and can be proudly be handed down as a family heirloom. Emphasis is on quality rather than quantity and all of our games are fully guaranteed against defective workmanship.
