Hobsons Brewery offers a range of traditional beers, made with the finest ingredients and benefiting from the hard-won expertise of its dedicated staff.

Operating from a small brewery in the heart of the English countryside, Hobsons has developed a reputation for producing distinctive, high-quality ales that can compete on even terms with the many national and multinational products already sold in pubs and bars.

We produce a fine range of cask beers - Hobsons Mild - the Champion Beer of Britain 2007, Hobsons Best Bitter, Hobsons Town Crier and our seasonal beers - high gravity Hobsons Old Henry in the winter months and zesty Manor Ale in the summer. We also produce Postmans Knock in bottles. We use the Campaign for Real Ale Cyclops system to help inform our customers of the style, smell, taste and alcohol content of our real ales.

If you wish to purchase our beers there are several ways you can do this. If you are in our area you may order by telephone and collect 9 and 18 gallon barrels and return the empty casks to the brewery. We also sell non-returnable polypins in 10 and 20 litre sizes. Barrelled beer may be ordered in normal condition, with yeast that needs about 6 hours to settle, or in bright condition where the beer is filtered for quicker consumption. If you are holding a public function please be aware that you may require a local authority license for the supply of alcohol. Many of the local public houses sell Hobsons on draught if you wish to try a pint in our beautiful area of the country. Many local shops in Cleobury Mortimer and in the surrounding area sell Hobsons beer in single bottles.
