Beautiful wood sculptures.

David Bytheway is one of Shropshire's unsung talents, he skilfully creates garden and park sculptures from English hardwoods. He transforms a piece of oak, beach or walnut wood into wonderful woodland creatures. To the untrained eye, creating a piece of art with a chainsaw is not the work of the moment.

On a fine day you may spot him creating his creatures on the roadside and selling them to passing motorist, when you can't find him there, you will find him in his workshop and yard surrounded by bears, deer, owls and hares, creatures of his own creation.

David accepts commission work, so if you have a fallen tree or a tree stump in your garden he will put the life back into it. He must be seen to be believed.
