Bradley Burn Farm

The cottages at Bradley Burn Farm are situated around sunny courtyards close to the burn.
Bradley Burn Farm Shop and Café opened in 2007. Our aim is to offer good food and to provide enjoyable shopping and eating. Much of the food that we sell and cook comes from our own and other local farms. We currently support over 60 local farmers and food producers.
The shop and café are housed in a beautiful log cabin. A large terrace overlooks the burn flowing past. Step off the terrace into an enclosed childrens play area with a sandpit and diggers for toddlers to enjoy. Thanks to our great selection of local food, have just been recognised as "Local Produce Champion" in the Taste Durham Awards.
Our menu offers a range of wholesome dishes prepared using many local ingredients. The specials board changes daily and always includes homemade soups, quiches and puddings. We serve a roast every Sunday.
The shop stocks an ever-expanding range of food including fresh fruit and veg, locally reared meat, regional cheeses and beers, home-baked bread, milk, butter and Archers ice cream plus plenty of delicious cakes, preserves, chocolates and baking necessities. We can make hampers up to order. From October until May our Bradley potatoes are for sale.
At Bradley Burn Farm we grow wheat, barley, oil seed rape and potatoes. We raise beef cattle and keep a small flock of Wensleydale sheep.
